Happy New Year!
Hi everyone, Happy New Year!
We’ve decided to upload some new screencaps to show what’s been going on with TEA recently.
Unfortunately, the project is progressing very slowly. There are many issues, primarily lack of free time and motivation. We’ve been there before, and we hope to get back to TEA sooner or later.
Changes to Moonlight Zone background:
Intro scene, where Roy gazes over a devastated city in his home world:
One version of a space stage (yes, we’ll have a stage on a giant spaceship, as well as a stage with micro-gravity in outer space!)
New sprites for Roy and another version of the space stage:
Unfortunately, that’s all we can show for now. We’re waiting for Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Demo to be released in the next couple of weeks so that we can evaluate the necessity to migrate the project from MMF2 to CTF 2.5. The transition is likely to be smooth.
As you know, SAGE 2014 is going to be held in February. We still haven’t decided whether we will take part in it, but we’ll let you know as soon as we make the final decision.
Stay tuned!

Multimedia Fusion 2. The engine is a modified version of Sonic Worlds 1.2 Delta.

what modified version? by the name of my link you will now what i’m talking about

By modified version I meant I took Sonic Worlds 1.2 and adapted it for my purposes. It has many small changes, e.g. small bug fixes, performance improvements, gameplay tweaks, custom shader effects, proper fullscreen/widescreen support, new objects, changes in camera/music system and replaced graphics. I built it specifically for TEA and it’s not available for download.
If you’re trying to make your own game, I suggest getting yourself a copy of Multimedia Fusion 2 and the latest version of Sonic Worlds (1.5.1 if I’m not mistaken). You can find Sonic Worlds on Sonic Retro forums: http://forums.sonicretro.org/index.php?showtopic=35097&pid=848067&st=0&#entry848067
