Since copy.com (where TEA files are hosted) is shutting down next month, I have updated all TEA-related downloads with MEGA links. Hopefully we won’t have any dead links for a while.

Posted in Main with tags Download, TEA on 29.12.2015 by PkRHi everyone! Yeah I know… It’s been a really long time since I last posted here. But let’s get to the fun part first.
We decided to update the 2012 demo with bugfixes, performance/gameplay improvements and some new features (no new levels unfortunately). Also, TEA is now a widescreen game (please let us know if you still want the 320×240 version – at this point we’re considering whether to keep it). You can download the updated C2 demo from here. An archive of old TEA demos is also available here.
There will be other TEA-related updates in the near future. Sadly we’ve been completely out of the loop for the last 2 years. Most of the fixes and enhancements in the demo we’re releasing are over a year old, too. However, we did resume work on the game this December and we’re hoping to get more content for C3 sometime soon.
By the way, we’re still looking for people interested in doing level layouts and pixel graphics!
Happy New Year, and may your dreams come true.
Sincerely,
PkR
Happy New Year!
Posted in Main on 02.01.2014 by PkRHi everyone, Happy New Year!
We’ve decided to upload some new screencaps to show what’s been going on with TEA recently.
Unfortunately, the project is progressing very slowly. There are many issues, primarily lack of free time and motivation. We’ve been there before, and we hope to get back to TEA sooner or later.
Changes to Moonlight Zone background:
Intro scene, where Roy gazes over a devastated city in his home world:
One version of a space stage (yes, we’ll have a stage on a giant spaceship, as well as a stage with micro-gravity in outer space!)
New sprites for Roy and another version of the space stage:
Unfortunately, that’s all we can show for now. We’re waiting for Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Demo to be released in the next couple of weeks so that we can evaluate the necessity to migrate the project from MMF2 to CTF 2.5. The transition is likely to be smooth.
As you know, SAGE 2014 is going to be held in February. We still haven’t decided whether we will take part in it, but we’ll let you know as soon as we make the final decision.
Stay tuned!
A small update on TEA C3 progress
Posted in Main on 26.01.2013 by PkRThe project is not dead, but we haven’t had a chance to work on it for a while, mostly because of real life stuff.
Some things that have been improved since the release of C2:
- Some new options (as well as additional eye-candy), including key mappings and changeable window size:
- Level streaming system (makes TEA playable on low-end machines, including early Atom-based netbooks)
- A whole lot of various bug fixes and performance improvements
- Intro graphics and some new music
As far as new levels go, we don’t have anything special to show at the moment. There has been some progress on Sparkling City Act 1 graphics and new layout, but it still needs some work.
We will release TEA C3 as soon as we have enough content ready.
